This policy describes how we collect, process, retain, and disclose personal data about you when providing services to you through our FORE Home mobile application (the "App"), available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, and any related services we provide through the App (collectively, our "Services"), and our practices for using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

This policy applies only to information we collect:

  • Through the Services, including the FORE Home mobile application.

  • When you interact with our vendor marketplace, AI-powered features, or other App functionality.
  • Through referral and onboarding information provided by Keller Williams agents or brokerages at or after your home closing.

It does not apply to information collected by:

  • Us through any other means, including on any other website or application operated by Company that does not link to this policy;
  • Keller Williams Realty, Inc. or its affiliated brokerages, which maintain their own separate privacy policies;
  • Any third party, including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from or through the Services; or
  • Information about employees, job applicants, or business-to-business contacts of Fore Home, Inc., which is governed by separate privacy notices.

Geographic Scope. The App is currently available in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Texas, Florida, Georgia, and Iowa, with planned nationwide expansion to all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.

Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we treat it. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in this privacy policy. This policy may change from time to time (see Changes to Our Privacy Policy). Your continued use of the Services after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into the FORE Home End User License Agreement (“EULA”) and Terms of Service.

Children’s and Minors’ Data

Our Services are intended solely for adults who are at least 18 years of age (the age of majority for homeownership transactions). We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children under the age of 18. If we learn we have collected or received personal data from an individual under 18 years old, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

If you believe that someone under the age of 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@theforehome.com.

The App is not subject to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) as it is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

The Personal Data That We Collect or Process

"Personal data" is information that identifies, relates to, or describes, directly or indirectly, you as an individual, such as your name, email address, telephone number, home address, or payment information.

The types and categories of personal data we collect or process include:

  • Account and contact information, including name, email address, phone number, mailing address (including property address), and account login credentials (username and password).
  • Property and home-related information, including but not limited to home inspection reports (uploaded by you), appliance and equipment information (including model and serial numbers), appliance and equipment installation history, warranty documents, maintenance and repair history and records, maintenance and service requests submitted through the App, upgrade or improvement plans, receipts and invoices for home-related purchases and services, remodel and renovation history, insurance claim records tied to the home, and project-related documents and photos.
  • Payment and financial information, including payment information (processed by our third-party payment processor; we do not store full payment card numbers), subscription and membership fee records, vendor marketplace transaction history, and service booking records.
  • Device and technical information, including device type, model, and operating system, unique device identifiers, IP address, App version and usage data, and mobile network information.
  • Location information, including property address (provided by you for vendor matching and home services) and general geographic location (derived from IP address for service area determination). We use this location information to match you with local service vendors and to provide geographically relevant home improvement recommendations.
  • Communications, including messages between you and service vendors through the App, communications with our customer support team, and operational SMS messages (e.g., password resets, service confirmations).
  • AI-generated information, including your FORE Score (proprietary home condition score generated by our AI systems), AI-generated action plans, maintenance recommendations and cost estimates, severity classifications of home inspection findings (Safety/Repair/Monitor), and home improvement ROI estimates.
  • Smart-home device information (if implemented). If and when smart-home integrations are implemented (such as thermostats, doorbells, locks, cameras, and sensors), we may collect device telemetry, usage data, and potentially audio and video data from connected cameras and doorbells. We will update this Privacy Policy and provide notice before collecting any such data.

Information we do not intentionally collect or use. We do not intentionally collect or use: date of birth or age, gender or demographic information, website search history, government-issued identification numbers (e.g., Social Security numbers), health or medical information, biometric data, or social media account handles. Although uploaded documents (such as inspection reports, receipts, or other home records) may incidentally contain such information, we do not extract, process, or use it for profiling or decision-making purposes without your consent.

We also collect:

  • Statistics, aggregated, or de-identified information. Statistical, aggregated, or de-identified data does not directly identify a specific person, but we may derive such non-personal data from personal data. For example, we may aggregate personal data to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific Services feature, de-identify individual records to analyze home condition patterns, or analyze general home condition trends across geographic areas.
  • Technical information. Technical information includes information about your internet connection and usage details about your interactions with the Services, such as features accessed, interaction patterns, and methods used to navigate the App.

If we combine or connect non-personal statistical or technical data with personal data so that it directly or indirectly identifies an individual, we treat the combined information as personal data.

As you navigate through and interact with our Services, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect information that may include personal data. Information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses, operating system, device type, and App interaction data.

Note: We do not currently use cookies, web beacons, session replay tools, behavioral tracking, or third-party analytics services within the App. If we implement such technologies in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide notice to users.

To the extent any automated technologies are implemented in the future and constitute a personal data sale, targeted advertising, or profiling under applicable laws, depending on where you live, you may opt out from use of these automated technologies for such uses by contacting us at hello@theforehome.com. Please note that some Services features may be unavailable as a result.

From Business Partners and Service Providers

We may receive personal data about you from other sources and combine that with information we collect directly from you. For example:

  • We may receive referral and onboarding information from Keller Williams real estate agents or affiliated brokerages who refer you to the App at or after your home closing, including your name, email address, phone number, and property address.
  • We may receive information from our payment processor in connection with your transactions.
  • We may receive information from Twilio (our SMS service provider) in connection with operational communications.
  • We may obtain property and appraisal data from public records or market data providers to support AI-generated home improvement and ROI recommendations. This data may be associated with your property address to generate personalized recommendations and insights specific to your home.

How We Use Your Information

We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal data, to:

  • Provide you with the Services and any contents, features, information, or services that we make available through the App.

  • Promote our Services, business, and offerings, including by marketing Fore Home products and services to you, and by using aggregated and de-identified data derived from our user base to identify trends, develop marketing insights, and promote our Services to prospective users who may benefit from similar features, consistent with applicable law.
  • Provide you with information about vendors, home improvement products, and related services that may be of interest to you.
  • Deliver personalized content and vendor recommendations, including both sponsored and non-sponsored listings (with sponsored or preferred vendors identified as such).

The usage information we collect, whether connected to your personal data or not, helps us improve our Services and deliver a better and more personalized experience by enabling us to:

  • Estimate our audience sizes and usage patterns.
  • Store information about your preferences, allowing us to customize the Services according to your individual needs and interests.
  • Speed up your searches and vendor matching.

AI Processing and Automated Decision-Making

How We Use AI

A core feature of the FORE Home App is AI-powered analysis of your home-related documents and data. Our AI system ("FORE AI") processes your uploaded documents and information—including home inspection reports, receipts, invoices, warranty documents, maintenance records, insurance claim records, photos, and service requests—to:

  • Extract and categorize findings from inspection reports;
  • Assign severity levels to identified issues (Safety, Repair, or Monitor);
  • Generate estimated cost ranges for repairs and improvements;
  • Calculate your proprietary FORE Score (a 0–100 rating reflecting your property’s overall condition);
  • Create prioritized action plans in plain language;
  • Provide predictive maintenance reminders and schedules;
  • Recommend home improvements with estimated return on investment (ROI) using neighborhood and appraisal data; and
  • Match you with service professionals based on your specific needs.

Third-Party AI Provider

We currently use Google as our third-party AI processing provider. Your User Content is shared with this provider solely for the purpose of providing the AI-powered features described above. Our agreement with our AI provider prohibits the use of your User Content to train the provider’s general-purpose AI models. We reserve the right to change AI providers at any time without notice to you.

Nature of AI Outputs

AI-generated outputs (including your FORE Score, cost estimates, action plans, and recommendations) (“AI Outputs”) are informational and facilitative in nature only. AI Outputs do not constitute and shall not be construed as:

  • Professional home inspection, engineering, or architectural, or other licensed contractor or trade advice;
  • Credit, lending, or insurance underwriting determinations;
  • Legally binding assessments of property value, condition, or fitness; or
  • Financial, tax, or investment advice.

You should consult qualified professionals before making significant decisions based on AI Outputs.

Express Consent to AI Processing

BY USING THE AI-POWERED FEATURES OF THE APPLICATION, INCLUDING BY UPLOADING DOCUMENTS FOR ANALYSIS, YOU EXPRESSLY CONSENT TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR USER CONTENT BY ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SYSTEMS, INCLUDING THIRD-PARTY AI PROVIDERS. THIS CONSENT EXTENDS TO ALL FORMS OF AI PROCESSING DESCRIBED IN THIS AI PROCESSING AND AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING SECTION.

Withdrawal of Consent

You may withdraw your consent to AI processing at any time by discontinuing the upload of documents to the App and ceasing use of AI-powered features. However, you acknowledge that AI processing is a core function of the App, and withdrawal of consent may significantly limit or prevent your use of key features, including your FORE Score and personalized recommendations. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing conducted prior to withdrawal.

AI Model Training

Your User Content is not currently used to train or fine-tune AI models owned by Fore Home or its third-party providers. If we determine in the future that User Content will be used for AI training purposes, we will update this Privacy Policy and obtain any consent required by applicable law prior to such use.

Ownership of AI Outputs

Fore Home, Inc. owns all AI Outputs, including FORE Scores, action plans, cost estimates, and recommendations produced through the Services, subject to your right to request deletion of personal information under applicable law and Company’s right to de-identify such information to comply with such request, as described in the “Survival of License and Data Rights Upon Termination” and “How We Retain Your Personal Data” sections below. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to view and use your personal AI Outputs solely within the App for your personal, non-commercial use.

Data Ownership and Licensing

By using the App and providing or uploading personal information and documents, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Ownership of Data

As described in the FORE Home End User License Agreement (EULA), Fore Home, Inc. owns or holds a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully sublicensable, and transferable license to all data collected through the App, including but not limited to User Content (such as uploaded documents, photos, and user-provided information), AI Outputs (including your FORE Score), and any derivative data created through the use of the Services. You retain ownership of the original User Content you upload, but you grant Company this license upon submission.

Use of Your Data

Fore Home may use data collected through the App for its business purposes as described in the “How We Use Your Information” section of this Privacy Policy, including creating aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized datasets for research, analytics, and data licensing purposes, and developing and improving AI models and algorithms (subject to the limitations described in this policy regarding AI model training).

Aggregate Data Licensing

Fore Home may aggregate and de-identify data collected through the App to create datasets reflecting, for example, general home condition trends, maintenance patterns, and related insights. Such aggregated and de-identified data, which does not reasonably identify any individual, may be licensed to third parties for commercial purposes, including research, market analysis, and product development.

Survival of License and Data Rights Upon Termination

Upon termination or deletion of your account:

  • Company’s license to your User Content (as set forth in this section and in the EULA) shall survive termination and remain in full force and effect;
  • Company will retain User Content and personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and its data retention practices;
  • If you reside in a state with an applicable consumer privacy law (such as California, Texas, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, or other states with similar laws), you may request deletion of your personal data as set forth in this Privacy Policy. Upon a verified deletion request, Company will delete or de-identify personal data that identifies or is reasonably linked to you from active systems as required by applicable law. However, the surviving license applies to: (a) data that has been aggregated or de-identified such that it no longer reasonably identifies you; (b) AI Outputs and derivative data that do not contain personal information; and (c) data Company is permitted or required to retain under applicable law. The surviving license does not override your statutory deletion rights with respect to personal data that identifies or is reasonably linked to you.

Data Portability and Export

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to request and receive a copy of your User Content in a portable, commonly used, and machine-readable format. This right is provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA), and other applicable state privacy laws. To request an export of your User Content, please contact us using the methods described in Your Rights and Choices About Your Information.

User Content Tied to Account, Not Property

Your User Content is associated with your user account, not with the property address. If you sell your home, your User Content (including uploaded documents, photos, home records, and AI Outputs) does not automatically transfer to the new property owner. Any sharing of your User Content with a subsequent property owner is at your sole discretion. Fore Home does not facilitate or require the transfer of User Content in connection with a property sale. If you wish to share certain home records with a buyer, you may do so outside the App or by using any export features we make available.

Who We Disclose Your Information To

We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction.

We may also disclose personal data that we collect or you provide as described in this privacy policy:

  • To service vendors. When you request home services through the App, we disclose relevant information (such as your name, property address, contact information, and the nature of the service needed) with service vendors in our network to facilitate service delivery.
  • To Keller Williams brokers and agents. We may disclose certain information with the Keller Williams brokerage and/or agent who referred you to the App, including your name, contact information, general information about your use of the App (e.g., service bookings, maintenance activity), and information necessary to facilitate seasonal reminders and communications branded with your agent’s information.
  • To our AI and cloud infrastructure providers. We disclose your uploaded documents and related data with our AI provider (currently Google) for the sole purpose of providing AI-powered analysis features. We also use cloud infrastructure providers to host and operate the App. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.
  • To communications providers. We use Twilio to send operational SMS messages (such as password resets and service confirmations). Your phone number and message content are disclosed to Twilio solely for this purpose.
  • To affiliates and e-commerce partners. The App may contain affiliate links or integrations with third-party retailers (such as home improvement stores). When you click on an affiliate link or make a purchase through an integrated retailer, certain information (such as transaction data) may be disclosed to the affiliate partner. These partners are identified at the point of interaction.
  • To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Fore Home, Inc.’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal data held by Fore Home is among the assets transferred.
  • To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it.
  • For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.
  • With your consent.

We may also disclose your personal data:

  • To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.
  • To enforce or apply our End User License Agreement, Terms of Service, and other agreements, including for billing and collection purposes.
  • If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of our organization, our users, or others, including exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection.

The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Categories of Personal Data We May Disclose

The categories of personal data we may disclose include:

  • Account and contact information.
  • Property and home-related information.
  • Payment and transaction information.
  • Device and technical information.
  • Location information.
  • Communications.
  • AI-generated information (e.g., FORE Score, action plans).

  • Marketing Communications. If you do not wish us to use your information to promote our own or third parties’ products or services, you can opt out by contacting us at hello@theforehome.com.
  • Cookies and Tracking Technologies. We do not currently use cookies or tracking technologies. See the “Automatically Through Our Services” section above for details. If such technologies are implemented in the future, we will provide appropriate opt-out mechanisms.
  • Targeted Advertising. If you do not want us to use information that we collect or that you provide to deliver targeted advertisements, you may opt out by contacting us at hello@theforehome.com.

Location data choices:

  • Location Data. You control the property address and location information you provide through the App. General location data derived from your IP address is collected automatically. You may request deletion of location information by contacting us.

Your State Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residency, you may have certain rights related to your personal data, including:

  • Access and Data Portability. You may confirm whether we process your personal data and access a copy of the personal data we process. To the extent feasible and required by state law, data will be provided in a portable format.
  • Correction. You may request that we correct inaccuracies in your personal data that we maintain, taking into account the information’s nature and processing purpose.
  • Deletion. You may request that we delete personal data about you that we maintain, subject to certain exceptions under applicable law. For details on how deletion requests interact with Company’s license rights and what data may be retained, see the “Survival of License and Data Rights Upon Termination” section above.
  • Opt Out of Sale, Targeted Advertising, and Profiling. You may request that we do not use your personal data for purposes of sale, targeted advertising, or profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
  • Non-Discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. You will not receive different pricing or quality of service solely because you exercised a privacy right.

Important: The exact scope of these rights varies by state. There are also several exceptions where we may not have an obligation to fulfill your request.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at:

  • Email: hello@theforehome.com

We will verify your identity before processing your request. Verification may require you to provide information that matches data we already have on file. If we cannot verify your identity, we may deny the request. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. Authorized agents must provide proof of authorization (such as a signed written permission or power of attorney).

We will respond to verifiable consumer requests within 45 days of receipt, as required by applicable law. If we need additional time (up to an additional 45 days), we will notify you of the extension and the reason for it.

Appeal Process

To appeal a decision regarding a consumer rights request, please email hello@theforehome.com with the subject line “Privacy Rights Appeal.” We will respond to your appeal within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally 45–60 days, depending on your state). If your appeal is denied, you will be provided with information on how to contact the appropriate state attorney general or regulatory authority to file a complaint.

Global Privacy Control

Some browsers and browser extensions support the Global Privacy Control ("GPC") that can send a signal to process your request to opt out from certain types of data processing, including data "sales" as defined under certain laws. When we detect such a signal, we will make reasonable efforts to respect your choices indicated by a GPC setting as required by applicable law.

How We Protect Your Personal Data

We use commercially reasonable administrative, physical, and technical measures designed to protect your personal data from accidental loss or destruction and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and taking steps to protect your personal data against unauthorized access.

However, no mobile application, system, or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal data. Any transmission of personal data is at your own risk. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate regulatory authorities as required by applicable law.

How We Retain Your Personal Data

We keep the categories of personal data described in this policy for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described or for as otherwise legally permitted or required, such as maintaining the Services, operating our organization, complying with our legal obligations, resolving disputes, and for safety, security, and fraud prevention. This means that we consider our legal and business obligations, potential risks of harm, and nature of the information when deciding how long to retain personal data. At the end of the retention period, personal data will be deleted, destroyed, or de-identified. Where applicable state law grants you a right to request deletion, we will honor verified deletion requests as described in this Privacy Policy. Where no such statutory right applies, we may retain personal data for the full retention period but will delete or de-identify it thereafter as a matter of policy.

Specific retention periods include:

  • Transaction records: Retained as required by applicable tax and financial recordkeeping laws (typically 3–7 years).
  • AI Outputs: Fore Home owns all AI Outputs as described in the Data Ownership and Licensing section. AI Outputs that do not contain personal information may be retained indefinitely. To the extent AI Outputs contain personal information that identifies or is reasonably linked to you, such information is subject to deletion or de-identification upon a verified deletion request, consistent with the Survival of License and Data Rights Upon Termination section.
  • Aggregated and de-identified data: Data that has been aggregated and de-identified such that it can no longer reasonably identify you may be retained indefinitely for research and analytics purposes.

When personal information is no longer needed for any business or legal purpose, we will securely delete or de-identify it in accordance with our data retention schedule and applicable law.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time, and we will provide notice of any such changes to the policy as required by law. The date the privacy policy was last updated is identified at the top of this page. We will notify you of changes to this policy by updating the "last updated" date and posting the updated policy on the Services.

Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any updated Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with the updated Privacy Policy, you should discontinue your use of the App.
